Clinical negligence (defendant) Locum sought by medium to large solicitors firm located in Kent. 6 month contract but there is a possibility this may be extended. Sounds like the firm have a contract with one of the insurance organisations – eg the MDU etc so experience along these lines would be very useful. The work is defendant clinical negligence. Multi-track claims. NB there may be some clinical negligence claimant matters. Company happy to consider clin neg solicitors from a claimant or defendant background.

Please note we have changed our systems due to ongoing issues with a rogue agency. If you get a call from a random consultant offering to ring round all the firms in Kent to find out who this is, bear in mind that the agency in question charge the clients 30% fees (according to their terms), they will ask you to sign a document for exclusive representation and we do invariably find out about it when our clients tell us!
