A medium to larger sized firm with offices across Sussex is looking for a locum company commercial solicitor to work out of their Brighton office and/or remotely – can be a hybrid role of some time in the office and some remote. Work can be flexible as well – the firm have partners handling both corporate transactional work and more general commercial work. The locum can essentially choose what they do and in what proportion. The role is therefore suitable for both corporate and commercial lawyers. Very wide mix – caseload can include merger and acquisition work, share sales and purchases, asset sales and purchases; also general corporate work, board minutes, resolutions etc. On the commercial side – drafting and agreeing commercial contracts, partnership agreements and terms and conditions of trading. Full or part time fine. Flexible hours a possibility.

2 months potentially to start – start date as soon as you are able. Role is to cover until they recruit permanently.
