Residential Conveyancing Consultant & Commercial Property Consultant – both remote

Two roles in today as follows:

JO8439a Conveyancing Consultant x 2 – Remote or Office

A small North Lincolnshire firm are looking for two residential conveyancing locums to join the firm on the following basis. You would provide residential conveyancing locum services as and when required, with this varying according to demand and your availability each week. The firm would also need you to be registered as lawyers with them for the purposes of the lender panels and the CQS accreditation. In the past we have seen deals involving an agreed hourly rate for any work undertaken, together with a monthly retainer (ie basic salary) paid for the extra role as being the named conveyancers at the firm. NB: this role is also available as a permanent salaried post with the reference JO8439.

JO1677 Commercial Property Consultant (ongoing)

A medium sized law firm with a completely remote working ethos are looking for solicitors to join them for work on an ongoing basis. The firm are looking ideally for solicitors to work as consultants on a part time basis. They specialise in one sector (medical) but the work is split along conventional lines and specific sector experience is not necessary. The firm are looking for an additional commercial property solicitor to join them. There is a requirement for a minimum commitment of 7-10 hours per week. Although they operate remotely they do like to keep a team ethos going within the business, so they get all their consultants together for meetings and social events. Good opportunity to add additional work to a portfolio if you have existing work elsewhere. Important to specify that this role requires a long term commitment – this is ongoing work.
