A law firm in the West Midlands are looking for two residential conveyancing locums to help out starting as soon as you are able for a period of approximately 3 months.

Work is predominantly non-mortgage sales and transfer of equity work. The firm use their own transfer of equity protocol, which is based fully on precedents. There is a larger than usual amount of trust related work involved in the conveyancing, although support can be given on this. There are also some mortgage-backed purchases.

The firm have specified that the files are not in an ideal state so there will be some detective work to be done in order to move them forward – essentially, you will need to investigate, identify next steps, prepare the next steps, and then submit to the director for review and action.

The work can be carried out remotely and both full and part-time hours are available.
