Register an Assignment
Register as a LocumA new vacancy has arisen with a firm based in Sutton, Surrey. Looking for a wills or wills & probate locum from now until the end of April, possibly another 1-2 months as well on top of this (may even go permanent potentially).
The firm are medium sized and team info is below. They would probably prefer an all rounder but could make do with a pure will maker. At the moment everyone more or less does wills + probates + LPAs, but most would prefer to drop the wills. More complicated trusts and lifetime administration are specialisms of one or two. In a way it would be better for a locum to do new wills/LPAs, rather than pick up existing trusts and probates.
After 1 May, the team will comprise 3 solicitors + 1 FILEX + 1 managing clerk plus secretaries. All fee earners are actually part time (typically 4 days).
Not clear whether full and/or part time – so please state your preference.
