Register as a LocumWest End firm seek a Solicitor or Paralegal who has worked in the West End, with speed and efficiency to handle residential conveyancing with a commercial element to it. The firm acts for investors from the Far East buying in Central London and deal with a high volume of purchase transactions, including legal completions. They have been successful – however the firm has lost a couple of Partners temporarily due to maternity leave and illness.
The firm seek to recruit two temporary lawyers with a view to being offered permanent positions.
The ideal person would be 2 or 3 years qualified and capable of working in the West End way, which is with speed and efficiency, to handle a volume of work and to get on with quite a large team of 13 lawyers handling this work.
You need to be ‘good’ and not make mistakes, familiar with the compliance requirements and are able to handle exchanges and legal completions competently, including acting for lenders.
The type of Solicitor or Paralegal this firm has employed previously have had outstanding CV’s (by this read city or central London experience coupled with excellent academics) which tell them that they are suitable for the roles required.
