Register an Assignment
Register as a LocumA new vacancy has arisen with a small solicitors practice situated in Sittingbourne, Kent. The firm seek a locum to join them from Monday 22nd August or as soon as possible after this. A week or so later will be fine.
They have had a locum there since February on an ongoing basis.
The firm ideally seek a ‘generalist’ solicitor who can look after not only the property work that the present locum has mainly been covering but also oversee/assist the partners own work when required as he is due to be away at various points in September and October. Ideally they would like someone who can provide cover up to at least the end of October initially, and quite possibly beyond that if both sides are happy to continue.
The main areas of practice are 1) all aspects of property (residential and commercial), plus 2) wills, probate, powers of attorney, 3) general commercial work and general non-contentious advice and assistance. The firm also deal with insolvency work, some litigation and some more specialised areas, but the locum does not necessarily have to cover those areas too.

We anticipate the firm being very interested in a conveyancing locum alone, and the requirement above is wishful thinking if anyone can assist with other areas as well..
