1. Small to medium sized firm of solicitors based in Marlow, SL7 (next to Marlow train station) looking for 3 weeks of locum cover for one of their corporate commercial solicitors from Thursday 12th July. The work in question will be predominantly commercial work, acquisitions and shareholders agreements.

2. Re-advertisement for one of our London clients. Large education company based in central London wanting a commercial counsel (with in house experience) to work 2-3 months for 4 days a week, starting asap. For this role, rather unusually, you will either a) need to have your own professional indemnity insurance or b) be happy to work via their payroll – ie tax deducted at source. This is extremely rare to see.. Commercial contracts work primarily and they will not consider someone from a corporate background who can do a bit of commercial (they’ve had a bad experience via one of our more pricey competitors) – needs to be vice versa.
