Register as a LocumTwo new locum roles in this morning as follows:
1. Conveyancing locum sought for Sawbridgeworth, Herts. Looking for cover from Thursday 29th June to Monday 10th July inclusive, although I suspect they may be interested in booking someone who can do Monday 3rd July to Friday 7th July as an alternative. Residential conveyancing. The same firm are looking to recruit permanently if interested and include 25 days annual leave plus statutory and also add your birthday to this as well (!). Located about 1/2 mile from Sawbridgeworth station.
2. Conveyancing (and General Practice) Locum Solicitor sought in Sittingbourne, Kent from Monday 17th July or asap after this until Friday 1st September. There is a strong likelihood there will be an extension to this assignment – the last locum covering at the firm has been there for about 7 months. This firm may also be interested in recruiting permanently if interested. They are looking primarily for property cover, both residential and commercial, but also would like assistance if possible with wills & probate, powers of attorney and general company commercial work. Will also require the locum to be willing to oversee other areas of contentious work when the principal is on holiday from time to time, although this would be an overseeing role rather than actually undertaking the work. The firm are located 200m from Sittingbourne train station.
