A new vacancy has arisen for a crime solicitor locum with a solicitors firm based in Manchester – equidistant from Victoria and Piccadilly stations and near Deansgate. They are looking for an experienced solicitor to pick up the caseload of a departed member of staff. The person will need to be familiar with Legal Aid and, ideally, will also have experience of acting for insurance funded/privately funded clients. The person will need to have a very high standard of correspondence, excellent client communication skills and meticulous organisational skills. There’s a possibility of the role becoming permanent if that’s of interest. The firm advertises itself as a friendly 14-strong team specialising in crime and regulatory law.

The length of the assignment is going to be at least 2 months.
