Family Solicitor in Dartford, Greater London 1-3 months

A small, specialist family solicitors firm based in the Dartford area (situated very near a train station) are looking for an additional solicitor or legal executive to join their friendly team. The firm is well established in the area and based in a town centre location. Free parking is available. The firm undertakes a mix of LAA funded and privately funded work across the full spectrum of family law including divorce, ancillary relief, children and care proceedings.

There are two vacancies:

1. Family Locum Solicitor sought to start as soon as possible to cover for a departing member of staff and to continue until the firm recruit permanently. The senior partner would like to meet you if possible on Tuesday 25th April at their offices. Ancillary relief and divorce work.

2. Permanent Family Solicitor sought to start as soon as you are able to. They seek a family solicitor or ILEX who is looking for a long term move onwards and upwards. They need the new lawyer to specialise specifically in ancillary relief – dealing primarily with the financial aspects of family breakdown for both married and cohabiting couples. You will be handling your own caseload without supervision. The firm can offer secretarial support and an individual office – no open plan arrangements. Salary levels will be very competitive for the South East London area – the firm want to get the right person in. We anticipate the range being up to £40k. Benefits include 25 days annual leave and offices closing across the Christmas break every year in addition to this. The firm are happy to look at someone wanting to work for 3-4 days or alternatively on a full time basis.
