1. Commercial Contract Solicitor x 2 – General and IT – remote working and London

Description
2 locum solicitors sought for a post-acquisition integration project that is due to come on line in the next couple of weeks. The project could last six months or more. In both cases the law firm in question want someone able to fit in with their culture of open collaboration and responsiveness. They are looking ideally for someone 10 years+ PQE with a London or major regional law firm background and ideally with some in-house experience.
The broad requirements are as follows:
1st Role – General Commercial Contracts
General commercial support
Supplier agreements
Marketing agreements
Integrating commercial processes, procedures and Ts and Cs
Travel industry experience helpful
Possibly based for a period of time at the client’s offices in Spain either part-time or full-time but advising on English law
2nd Role – IT and Procurement
Negotiating IT and procurement contracts
Outsourcing agreements
IT systems contracts
Candidate can work remotely but needs to be available for meetings in central London from time to time
The firm are due a final decision from their client on the 19th February with a start date of the 1st March.

2. Defendant Personal Injury Lawyer
A new vacancy has arisen with a local authority based in Winchester (no prizes for guessing which one!) as follows: they are looking for locum cover for 3 months, although potentially this could be up to 12 months if their fee earner doesn’t return on a Defendant caseload of FT/MT PI claims – including catastrophic injury claims. You will be working in the highways litigation team of the council’s inhouse legal practice.

3. Wills & Probate Solicitor
A new vacancy has arisen with a small 300 year old law firm based in Morpeth, Northumberland. Nearest train station is Morpeth – about 500 metres from the offices. The firm are looking for the following:
1. A locum wills & probate solicitor or lawyer to join them on a full or part time basis – 3 days per week would be fine. Start date would be as soon as you are able.
2. A permanent wills & probate solicitor or lawyer – full or part time – someone interested in living and working in the town. Start date flexible to suit.
Morpeth is situated in a very nice area of the country – it is a small market town close to the coast but also Newcastle.
