Start is as soon as you are able and covering until they recruit permanently. Fully remote working possible with this firm, which is a small high street practice. Hourly rate is almost definitely going to be £30.
A new vacancy has arisen with a firm on the outskirts of Manchester (easy access from the M6 and M60/M62). Looking for ongoing company commercial assistance on a 100% remote working basis. The firm are in need of a consultant to join them and assist on an ad hoc basis – likely to be up to 15 hours a week, potentially less. Clientele tend to be clients who have had commercial property matters with the firm and in need of additional commercial law assistance – I get the impression it is mainly commercial contract advice.
A new Private Client Locum vacancy has arisen with a medium sized Greater Manchester solicitors’ firm with easy access to the motorway network. Looking for a wills & probate locum lawyer to assist one of the partners with a very busy caseload and to help with a caseload of a fee earner currently ill and likely to be away from the office for some months. 5 months very likely starting immediately. Can be completely remote, but would prefer to work with someone who can possibly get into the office very occasionally (not essential though). Part time to start – flexible hours fine – 4 hours per day required as a minimum. Full time is possible as well if preferred. Can be solely probate, but the firm are snowed under with wills and LPA work as well so happy to add this to a caseload if someone requires more hours.
