  1. Leicestershire – Commercial Property – ongoing

A new vacancy has arisen with a medium sized solicitors practice based in North Leicestershire. They are looking for a locum to assist due to an increased workload of commercial property matters. Looking for someone to start as soon as possible for an ongoing assignment and this can change to permanent as well if interested. Regular client. No train station near this firm – closest one is about 20 minutes taxi drive/bus journey away. Easy parking and good access to M1 and M42.

Ideally the firm are looking for someone 3 days per week but will also consider full time as an alternative. The assignment can start when you are ready and duration is going to be long term or as long as you are able to offer I think. They will be amenable to fitting in existing assignments of a few weeks.

A new vacancy has arisen with a small law firm in Henley on Thames, looking for a family law locum to cover until they recruit permanently. Start date is as soon as possible and the work is all privately funded family law.

3. Commercial Contracts Lawyer – London – 2 weeks

A new vacancy has arisen with an education technology company, which partners with over 150 universities and higher education institutions to deliver online course, programs and degrees. They are urgently looking to use an experienced contracts lawyer for a minimum of 2 weeks in July – to assist the legal team with drafting new commercial contracts, and reviewing and updating our contract templates. 2-3 weeks possible, start date within next 2 weeks. London NW1.

4. Harrow – Wills & Probate Locum – ongoing

A Harrow solicitors firm (situated adjacent to a tube station) are looking for a wills & probate locum to assist them until they recruit permanently. Possibility of up to 2-3 months starting asap. The sooner the start, the better, as a lawyer has left at short notice. 3 days per week would work very well for them. Quite a bit of probate work as opposed to wills. Possibility of locum to permanent if wanted.
