Legal Department
In-House Locum Litigation Fee Earner

Part-time- 3 days/21.5 hours per week
Temporary
Reporting to: Head of Legal
PQE: 5+
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex

A national property group company which offers varied and interesting work across the group is seeking a locum Litigation Fee Earner for an immediate start within their in-house legal department. Secretarial support will be provided.

Job Specification
” Acting on all litigation matters within the Group
” Managing a caseload of both pre-litigated and formally litigated matters including but not limited to:
-Applications made under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 & Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002
-Claims made pertaining to service charge, insurance, breach of lease, disrepair and all other matters pertaining to the client’s ownership of a large property portfolio

  • Residential and commercial property possession claims
    -Commercial litigation for group companies

In addition:

“Providing litigation and commercial advice on all aspects of the Group’s activities
” Other matters commensurate with the role and as required.

Experience
” Relevant property litigation experience
” 5 years Post Qualification Experience is desirable however candidates with less PQE will be considered if an exceptional application is made
” Commercial awareness, strong communication skills and solutions focused advice are essential.

Property Litigation Solicitor in Central London – remote working

Property Litigation Solicitor sought by well known central London firm of medium size. The firm seek someone able to assist on a part-time remote working basis for approximately 20 hours per week, sometimes a bit more sometimes a bit less. Essentially this is another ad hoc position (we are picking up increasing numbers of these at the moment). Work will be mainly property litigation matters. Start is Monday 27th July.
