Residential Conveyancing Remote Working Locum

We have had a locum covering at a small-medium sized firm in the Manchester area for a couple of months, but unfortunately due to another pre-booked assignment she is having to end the role early on the 15th January. As a result we have an opportunity for someone to take over the assignment as of Monday 18th January. The firm are incredibly busy and in need of assistance on an ongoing basis. They ideally want someone to stay with them longer term but happy for a locum with 2-3 months availability to assist as well. Hours can be flexible but this is a full time role with full time hours – ie 35 hours per week required or thereabouts.

Feedback on this firm has always been very positive – very friendly people, although hardworking.

The firm would also want someone to occasionally travel to one of their two offices. The Manchester offices are situated just outside the city centre with easy road access and adjacent to a tram stop.

This is a remote role and hourly rates need to reflect this. We usually recommend having two rates – one for remote and the other for hours spent at the office or alternatively a contribution to travel. So for example – “£30 per hour remote, £35 per hour if office based, or alternatively £40 travel contribution for each day spent travelling to and from the office.”
