Four New Locum Roles in today:
- A new vacancy has arisen with a small but established family law solicitors firm based in Guildford. They are looking for a wills & probate locum to work on an ongoing basis and the work will entail at least 1 day every fortnight. The firm are seeking to build up a private client department and hope to increase the days as time goes on. Locum basis still.
- Family Solicitor or ILEX sought in Guildford – 3 years PQE min and wanted on a part time basis. Locum or permanent arrangement fine. 2 days per week sought. Privately funded family law work.
- Conveyancing Locum assignment with a twist! We have a new entrant to the market in Devon looking to set up an entirely new conveyancing operation to compete with existing providers and wanting to get a locum in on an ongoing basis to act as a consultant to them whilst they go through the process. This is an individual entrepreneur with equity. You can be based anywhere in the country but I got the impression from speaking to the client that it would be beneficial if you were fairly local to them – they are located close to Exeter and Dartmoor. Residential conveyancing. Work will entail giving advice and support in looking at processes, systems, setting up teams, the practicalities of conveyancing. They are after someone positive who can give encouragement and not tell them why it won’t work. Naturally this goes against the grain for a lot of high street practitioners who spend their lives stuck in the quagmire of conveyancing transactions!
- Solicitors firm based in Manchester looking for assistance with two cases – one of which involves a commercial lease. Case already filed at court. Not clear how much work there is on offer here. Small firm located adjacent to Ardwick station on the outskirts of Manchester – M12.
Any interest please let me know.
